James Ward-Prowse, Jack Stephens Matt Targett have been named in the England Under-21s squad for their upcoming 2017 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifier with Kazakhstan.

Ward-Prowse, who was named captain of Gareth Southgate’s squad during the last round of international matches, will be joined Targett and Stephens for the qualifier at the Ricoh Arena.

The game takes place on Tuesday 13th October at the home of Coventry City, with kick-off at 5.45pm BST.

Southgate’s side beat Norway in their opening qualifier last month, with Ward-Prowse scoring the only goal of the game from the penalty spot to seal the three points.

Ward-Prowse and Targett will return to the South Coast following the conclusion of the game against Kazakhstan, while Stephens will head back to Middlesbrough, where he is currently on loan.
