All Saints Day dedications

By SFC Media time Thu 01 Oct Club

This season’s designated All Saints Day game will be the visit of AFC Bournemouth to St Mary’s on Sunday 1st November.

Each year, the club remembers players, staff, supporters, family members and loved ones connected to the club who have passed away in the last 12 months with a designated tribute led fixture in the month of November.

The forthcoming match against Bournemouth is also significant as it falls just before remembrance weekend, providing the perfect opportunity for the club to come together and show appreciation to the close lives lost in the last year.

We will be publishing short dedications in SAINTS, the club’s official Matchday Magazine for the game and invite fans to send in the names, photos and brief messages of no more than 30 words in memory of supporters and associates.

The club will also add its respects to the former players and staff that passed away this year including: Bill Ellerington, Dave Walker, Ken Birch and Angus Moffat.

If you would like to include a message in the magazine for the Bournemouth game, then please email your dedication with the subject ‘All Saints Day’ to [email protected] by midday on Friday 23rd October.

We will include as many messages as we can, but please note that all shall be remembered during a period of silence ahead of kick-off on the day.
