Southampton Under-21s striker Ryan Seager has received his first England Under-20s call-up.
The forward scored 21 goals in all competitions for Martin Hunter’s Under-21s last season and was named the Barclays Under-21 Player of the Month for February.
Seager made his first-team debut against Crystal Palace in the FA Cup last season before featuring in the Premier League as a substitute against Swansea City.
He has not featured so far this season through injury, but returned to the bench on Monday for Saints' Barclays Under-21 Premier League draw with Middlesbrough.
It is the second time Seager has been called up to represent his country, having made two appearances for England’s Under-17s at the Algarve Tournament in January 2013.
Keith Downing’s squad will take on Czech Republic at Shrewsbury Town’s Greenhouse Meadow on Monday 7th September (kick-off: 7.30pm BST) following an earlier game against the same opposition at St George’s Park.
You can purchase tickets to watch Seager in action for England by calling 01743 273943. Tickets are priced at £3 for adults and £1.50 for concessions.
