Davis set for Northern Ireland's qualifiers

Southampton midfielder Steven Davis has been named in the Northern Ireland squad for their upcoming UEFA Euro 2016 qualifiers.

Michael O'Neill's men will take of the Faroe Islands and Hungary next month as they look to cement their spot at next year's tournament in France.

Davis and his teammates will travel to Torshavn first to take on the Faroe Islands on Friday 4th September (kick-off 7.45pm BST).

They will then welcome Hungary to Windsor Park, again at 7.45pm BST, on Monday 7th September.

Northern Ireland currently sit second in group F, one point behind leaders Romania and two points ahead of Hungary with four games remaining.

Davis will return to Southampton following the conclusion of the game against Hungary in Belfast.
