Up to ten Southampton players could be set to pull on their respective countries’ shirts on Sunday.

At 3pm BST, England Under-20s take on the USA in a friendly at Plymouth Argyle’s Home Park, with Harrison Reed, Jordan Turnbull and Jack Stephens all in Aidy Boothroyd’s squad.

Then, at 5pm BST, both Florin Gardos and Steven Davis are in UEFA EURO 2016 qualifying action. Gardos’ Romania face the Faroe Islands whilst Davis – captain of Northern Ireland – is expected to line up against Finland, with both players looking to pick up vital points in Group F.

At 7.45pm BST, Southampton skipper Jose Fonte might be charged with keeping club teammates Dusan Tadić and Filip Djuričić quiet as Portugal host Serbia in Group D.

Striker Shane Long is part of the Republic of Ireland’s squad who host Poland in Group at the same time, and France’s Morgan Schneiderlin completes the list of players in international action this weekend.

Les Bleus will be looking to bounce back from Thursday’s 3-1 defeat to Brazil when they take on Denmark at the Stade de France (kick-off 8pm BST).
