James Ward-Prowse is the only Southampton player in international action on Monday.
Ward-Prowse is set to feature for England Under-21s, who face their German counterparts at Middlesbrough’s Riverside Stadium (kick-off 7.45pm BST).
The midfielder was due to be joined by club teammate Matt Targett, but the left-back was forced to withdraw from the squad through injury on Sunday.
The duo both played for Gareth Southgate's side on Friday evening, as they beat Czech Republic 1-0 in Prague.
Ward-Prowse will pick up his 15th cap if he plays against Horst Hrubesch’s Germany.
