Saints set for Stoke cup date

By SFC Media Wed 24 Sep First team

Saints will travel to Stoke City in the fourth round of the Capital One Cup.

Ronald Koeman’s team were the fourth out of the hat for the fourth-round draw, and are handed an away trip to the Britannia Stadium after seeing off Arsenal in round three yesterday night.

The tie will be played in the week commencing Monday 27th October – just days after the Potters visit St Mary’s the previous weekend.

Stoke beat Sunderland in the third round, winning 2-1 at the Stadium of Light on Tuesday evening as Marc Muniesa’s double cancelled out Jozy Altidore’s opening.

A match date and ticketing information for the trip to the Potteries will be confirmed in the near future.
