We are looking for presentable and reliable staff who have a passion for delivering exceptional service to the customer. We are looking for casual staff to work Match Day and non-Matchday events.

You could be waiting tables, serving drinks in one of our suites, on the faster paced concourse as a Food Service Assistant or even working in our innovative and creative Kitchen as a Kitchen Porter.

Casual Hawkers (Public Catering Staff)

Working Matchdays as and when required. Competitive Pay Rates.

We have an opportunity to for you to join us on the public concourses selling food and beverages from our mobile units, known as ‘Hawkers’. 

Hawkers must be outgoing, personable and vocal to attract attention. You have to be approachable and confident to approach others. Each Hawker will have a dispensing unit containing stock filled to an appropriate weight. 

You will serve 31,000 spectators a variety of food and beverage products, in an extremely fast paced environment. 

Working as part of a team that is directed by the Hawker Supervisor, your personal aim will be to go above and beyond customer expectations and sell, sell, sell…

The essential qualities we are looking for include:

• Showing a professional attitude when serving and greeting customers. 

• Polite and courteous manner, being presentable at all times. 

• Active listening skills to ensure all orders are taken correctly. 

• Ability to approach customers in the stands. 

• Adhere to and follow all cash handling procedures when processing payments.

• Learn the stock offered to be able to provide full product knowledge to spectators. 

• Advertise products vocally for spectators to hear. 

• Good mental arithmetic skills. 

• Comply with all company policies and procedures.

Experience of food and cash handling is desirable, but not essential for this role.

Freelance Chefs

Working Matchdays and Events as and when required. Pay rate dependent on experience.

We are looking for Freelance Chefs to join our culinary team here at St Mary’s Stadium. We are looking for qualified and/or trainee chefs of all levels of qualification and experience.

You must be presentable and reliable and have a passion for delivering exceptional food quality to the customer.

Qualified and/or trainee chefs of all levels can apply and be a part of the team covering Matchdays and events in a creative and proactive working environment.
