Saints' season opener against Manchester City has been rearranged having been selected for live television coverage.

The visit to the 2011-12 Barclays Premier League champions will now take place on Sunday 19th August (4pm kick off) and will be shown live on Sky Sports.

Our trip to the Etihad Stadium is one of four Saints fixtures to be selected by broadcasters in the first batch of televised matches, which incorporates games up until 30th November.

Saints' home game against Manchester United has also been rearranged by just over 24 hours, and will now be shown live on Sky Sports on Sunday 2nd September with a 4pm kick-off time.

The visit of Fulham to St Mary's has been pushed back to Sunday 7th October (1:30pm kick off) and, again, will be broadcast on Sky Sports.

Finally, we can expect fireworks when Saints travel to West Bromwich Albion with our trip to the Hawthorns now scheduled to kick off at 8pm on Monday 5th November live on Sky.
