Back to it 👊
Can anyone find the breakthrough in the second-half at St Mary's?
HALF TIME: Saints 0-0 Newcastle
It remains goalless at half-time at St Mary's but not through lack of trying. The visitors did have the ball in the back of the net through Joelinton but a handball ruled it offside. Aggressive and energetic in equal measure so far, a huge second-half of cup football awaits in SO14. Come on you Saints!

Bazunu punches clear
Trippier plays a quick one-two short from the corner before launching the ball into the box but Gavin Bazunu clears his line by about five yards before making a strong punch to clear the threat.
Trippier sends in tantalising cross
Wonderful from the England international who whips in a cross to Joe Willock at the back post but it heads just behind Gavin Bazunu's goal.
Alcaraz denied by Schar
It seems like Charly Alcaraz is constantly in the right place at the right time tonight as he retreives the ball in the centre of the pitch again. The Argentinian lays the ball to James Ward-Prowse who cuts the ball into an on-running Charly Alcaraz but Fabian Schár does enough to make the block.
