And breathe! Saints deserve to be level at the halfway stage and they are. The hosts responded well to Raheem Sterling's opener after 12 minutes and produced a string of chances, before Laporte's own goal restored parity. With 45 minutes left to go, it's still all to play for.

Sali is back on his feet

The Ghanaian is fine to continue, as he returns to the field.

33’

Salisu needs some treatment 🤕

The defender towers over Grealish to win a header but falls awkwardly to the floor, with Mike Dean stopping play to allow for treatment.

28’

Gündogan hits the woodwork!

Cancelo does well to work space for a cross and fizzes the ball into City's captain, but his volley from close range comes back off the post.

24’

A chance for Arma

The chances keep falling to Adam Armstrong, as the striker collects a pass from his strike partner Shane Long just inside the box, but with the ball bouncing he slices his strike well wide of the target.

20’

Saints look to use Armstrong's pace

Not for the first time this afternoon, the hosts look to release Adam Armstrong in behind the City defence, but Laporte is on hand on this occasion to deal with the danger.

17’

Jesus fires over

City are continuing to threaten, as Jesus makes a yard of space on the edge of the box before blazing over the crossbar.

City take the lead

Moments after Saints hit the post at the other end, the visitors take the lead. Stephens fails to clear his lines properly and Sterling is on hand to fire the ball past Forster from close range.

A simple save for Forster

Raheem Sterling attempts to curl a strike beyond Fraser Forster from 20 yards, but it's a routine save for the Saints stopper.

Almost an opening for Longy
