Both Moussa Djenepo and Jannik Vestergaard had late chances to grab an equaliser but ultimately it's defeat for Saints at Goodison Park.

Michael Keane's header looked to have given Everton a second just shy of the half hour mark but VAR ruled it out for offside. Saints have had periods of good possession, but yet to truly test Pickford. Plenty to play for at Goodison.
