FULL TIME: Crystal Palace 0-2 Southampton
A comfortable night's work! That's FOUR away wins in a row for Saints, who never looked in trouble at Selhurst Park. Two sublime goals, scored by Nathan Redmond and Stuart Armstrong, secured the points against a Palace side who were unable to test Alex McCarthy all evening. The only setback for Ralph Hasenhüttl was a first-half injury to Cédric, forcing James Ward-Prowse to fill in at right-back.

We're into stoppage time at Selhurst Park ⏳
Cheeky from the skipper...
Højbjerg spots Guaita off his line and tries to chip him from 40 yards, but it doesn't dip in time to find the net.
Wickham fires wide
The substitute races through again, but this time shoots well wide of the near post on his left foot. Palace still haven't mustered a shot on target in this game.
Ward-Prowse gets back at Wickham
A crucial interception from the emergency right-back - as Wickham steps inside Stephens, Ward-Prowse gets a foot in to diffuse the danger.
Vestergaard is down...
The big defender was caught in the face by Guaita as the keeper came charging out to deal with a high ball.
Yellow Card for Nathan Redmond (Southampton)
The Saints winger was angered when he wasn't awarded a free-kick.
Yellow Card for James Tomkins (Crystal Palace)
Tomkins squares up to Redmond and both players follow Romeu into the book.
Yellow Card for Oriol Romeu (Southampton)
Romeu pulls back Zaha and goes into the book - the first player from either side to do so.
Redmond tests Guiata
Forced wide on to his left foot, Redmond gets his shot away but it's easily held by Guaita.
Long spurns golden chance
That should've been 3-0! Long wins the ball high up the pitch and is played through by a clever pass from Obafemi, but his eventual shot is straight at Guaita.
Vestergaard threatens a third
Bertrand's low corner is helped across goal by Long towards Vestergaard, who stretches to send the ball looping towards goal, but it drops wide of the far post.
It's TWO!!!
Another spectacular Saints goal! This time Redmond turns provider, rolling the ball to Armstrong, who takes aim with a precise curling shot that veers away from Guaita's dive and nestles into the corner of the net. Get in!
GOOOAL!!!
Stuart Armstrong (48’) | 0 – 2
The second half is under way
We're back into the action...
HALF TIME: Crystal Palace 0-1 Southampton
Halfway to a fourth away win in a row! Saints are fully deserving of their lead, having dominated the first 45 minutes. Nathan Redmond struck the only goal, rifling a stunning shot into the top corner from 20 yards, but there have been further chances not taken. At the other end, Palace caused one moment of concern when Cenk Tosun went clean through on goal, but he fired wildly over the bar.
Long goes close!
He gets across his man at the near post, but his header flies into the side-netting. Saints don't want the half-time whistle at this rate...
3️⃣ added minutes...
We're into stoppage time here in the first half at Selhurst Park.
Long's touch lets him down
Played in by Redmond, Long goes eye to eye with Guaita, but in trying to round the keeper his touch his heavy and goes behind for a goal kick.
Hodgson looks perplexed
The Palace boss has the look of a man who can't wait to have words with his players at half time. His team have been completely outplayed in this first half.
Third time lucky for Armstrong?
Again the Scot tries his luck from 20 yards, but the ball is stuck under his feet a little bit and he has to dig it out, so his shot lacks power and is easily gathered by Guaita.
Armstrong goes close again!
Redmond pokes the ball into the path of Armstrong, who swivels and drives a low shot towards the near post, but he drags it fractionally wide from the edge of the box. Saints are the dominant team,
Guaita denies Armstrong!
Saints looking dangerous again, as Redmond feeds the overlapping Bertrand, whose low cross is hit first time by Armstrong, but it's too close to Guaita, who tips it over the bar. More encouraging signs 😁
WHAT A STRIKE!!!
YESSSS!!!! Saints are in front and it's an absolute BULLET from Nathan Redmond! He turns sharply on the edge of the box and unleashes a ferocious shot from 20 yards that flies into the top corner. Absolutely unstoppable 👏👏
GOOOAL!!!
Nathan Redmond (22’) | 0 – 1
Tosun misses a glaring chance 😳
It was self-inflicted from a Saints point of view - Vestergaard loses possession to Ayew, sending Tosun clean through on goal, but the Turk loses his composure and blazes wildly over the bar.
Boos for Ward-Prowse 😅
James Ward-Prowse is not the most popular figure among Palace supporters - they still remember the part he played in Wilfried Zaha's red card at St Mary's last season...
Bright start from Saints 👊
We're 10 minutes in, and Saints have certainly had the better of the play so far, albeit we're still waiting for the first attempt on goal.
🔢 Numbers game
The stats look good for Saints; the visitors are searching for a fourth successive away win, and have only failed to score once in their last 13 matches 📈
Obafemi goes down...
The youngster tries to burst between two defenders and goes to ground on the edge of the box, but there's not deemed enough contact to bring him down.
Redmond looking sharp 💥
Some tricky wing play from Nathan Redmond sees him beat three players down the Saints left, but his low cross cannot be kept under control by Michael Obafemi.
Up and running!
We're under way at Selhurst Park and Saints have an early throw-in down the left. Come on, boys! 💪
