Saints Fest - Frequently Asked Questions


Buying Tickets


Can I buy my ticket directly from St Mary’s?

Yes – tickets are available from the Ticket Office at St Mary’s for £5 and available to buy online until 5.30pm on Friday 28th June. Walk ups on the day will also be available  from the Ticket Office for £5 per ticket.


I’m a 19/20 Season Ticket holder, how do I get my discounted price?

Tickets for 19/20 Season Ticket holders are available online at a reduced price of £2 if you pre-book before 5.30pm on Friday 28th June. When booking online, log in with your supporter number and the discount will automatically be applied. This reduced price is also available on the day of the event - if you would like to purchase your ticket directly from the Ticket Office in person, you must also provide your supporter number. 


I have purchased my ticket(s) online and have opted to have them posted to me. When will I receive them?

All tickets booked online before Friday 14th June will receive their tickets in the post before Friday 21st June. If you don’t receive them by this date please call the Ticket Office on 02381 780780.

For purchases after Friday 14th June, you will receive your tickets between 2-3 working days after your order. 
Any ticket booked online after Wednesday 26th June will need to be collected.


I am disabled. What do I need to know?

If you are disabled and require assistance to attend the event, you can request a free ticket for your enabler. Simply call the ticket office on 02381 780780 before purchasing.

We also have accessible parking on site for blue badge holders only. This must be pre-booked by calling our accessibility team on 02380 711909 or by emailing [email protected]

I have qualified for VIP package for the event, when will I get my tickets?

To redeem your VIP tickets you must fill in the RSVP form sent to you by email. Once this is complete we will send out your VIP pack, which you will receive 7-10 days before the festival. If you prefer, you can collect your pack at the ticket office at St Mary’s but you must let us know when registering your details that this is your preference.

If you have chosen to have your pack posted, please note that both VIP tickets will be sent to one address only.

I have qualified for 2 free general admission tickets to the event, when will I get my tickets?

To redeem your free general admission tickets you must fill in the RSVP form sent to you by email. Here you will get the option of either having your tickets posted to the address associated to your account or you can collect them from the Ticket Office at St Mary’s.

If you would like your tickets posted, you will receive them by Friday 21st June 2019. Please note that both tickets will be sent to one address only. Otherwise they will be available to collect from Monday 24th June up to and including the event day.

I have lost my ticket. Can I get a replacement?

If you have lost your ticket please contact the ticket office on 02381 780 780 to discuss.


Should I buy tickets from an unofficial website?

Please do not purchase tickets from unauthorised websites or outlets. You run the risk of purchasing an invalid ticket and being refused entry on the day. 


Before you arrive

When should I arrive for my event?

Gates will open for Saints Fest at 11am, so give yourself plenty of time to get in, collect your tickets (if necessary) and pass through security.


Am I allowed to bring bottled water in on the day?

Yes, you are able to bring bottled water up to 0.5 litres on the day. There will also be free water points within the event for you to use should you wish.


What is the easiest way to get to St Mary’s Stadium?

By Car

Parking is available on site for blue badge holders only. This must be pre-booked by calling our accessibility team on 02380 711909 or by emailing [email protected]

For all other visitors, we recommend using local parking facilities or public transport. Please see the Southampton City Council website for more information on where to park - http://www.southampton.gov.uk/roads-parking/parking

By Train

The nearest train station is Southampton Central, which is just over a mile away from St Mary’s Stadium.

By Taxi

There will be a designated drop off and collection point for taxis only and this will be communicated to local taxi companies prior to the event. We recommend booking in advance. No public vehicles will be permitted in this area.

Event information


What time do the doors open?

Gates will open for Saints Fest at 11am, so give yourself plenty of time to get in, collect your tickets (if necessary) and pass through security. To enter the event, you must show your ticket to receive a wristband that must be worn throughout the event. You are free to enter and leave the event as you wish, subject to wearing the wristband.

We will also provide parents with wristbands that you are able to write contact details upon, for young attendees should they become separated from their group.


What should I do if I have a problem at an event?

Please make your way to the closest member of staff, who will be able to assist you. Security staff will be in high visibility clothing.

 

Entry


Where can I enter the event?

VIP’s have a dedicated access point to the rear of the Kingsland Stand or can enter by the front South Entry Point (by the megastore).
General Admission can enter by either entry point, however do be aware the South Entry point may be a little quicker.


Are there any age restrictions for this event?

No, but all under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.


Can I bring my small child/baby with me to Saints Fest?

Yes, there is no minimum age to attend Saints Fest. Facilities will be provided.


Can I take my bag into the festival?

Only small bags will be allowed into the event, and all are subject to a search. Please do not bring any larger bags. We do not have any storage facilities.


Which items aren’t allowed in to the festival?

Knives, fireworks, smoke canisters, air-horns, flares, dangerous or hazardous items, laser devices, bottles, glass vessels, cans, illegal substances, poles and any article that might be used as a weapon and/or compromise public safety are strictly prohibited. Any person in possession of such items will be refused entry to the ground. We cannot permit large luggage bags. We also cannot permit professional filming and recording equipment to be brought onsite. We reserve the right to refuse entry with any item we deem to be dangerous or hazardous, and anything that we deem will ruin the enjoyment or experience of others.


Can I take food into the festival?

No, however there will be food and drink outlets on site throughout the day. If you have a severe allergy or medical condition please contact the Accessibility Team on 02380 711909 or by emailing [email protected].


What security measures will I have to go through before entering the festival?

Visitors and guests will be subject to a security search and you must be wearing the wristband given to you at the gate at all times. You will not be allowed entry/re-entry without one.


What happens if I don’t want to be searched?

Search is a condition of entry and guests will only be permitted entry after being searched.

 

Facilities


Where can I smoke?

St Mary’s Stadium is a smoke-free venue and smoking is not permitted inside the event.


Are there restaurants in the stadium?

There will be food and beverage options available at different outlets at the event.


Will the bars be open throughout the event?

Yes. Bars will be open throughout the entire duration of the event, serving a variety of drinks for all.


Are there baby changing facilities?

Yes. Please ask a member of our team to direct you on the day.

Lost Property - I’ve lost something. Who do I contact?
