Monday's clash will be a rematch of last season's Hampshire Senior Cup final, with the two sides going head to head for the trophy again.

Last season, it was Bournemouth who were victorious on penalties; after a 1-1 draw after extra-time, The Cherries took home the trophy with a 9-8 shoot-out win.

In this season's competition, Saints received a bye in the first round and a home walkover victory against Eversley & California without having to play a match.

A trip to Havant & Waterlooville followed, as Saints began their cup journey with a 3-1 win in the quarter-finals.

In the semi-finals, Saints were again on the road and beat AFC Portchester 5-0 to set up their second consecutive shot at silverware.

Saints celebrate their semi-final triumph over AFC Portchester.

AFC Bournemouth play in the FA Women’s National League Division One - the fourth tier of the Women’s pyramid - and narrowly missed out on promotion despite an unbeaten league campaign.

They began their reign as Hampshire Senior Cup holders with a narrow 1-0 win over Portsmouth, before they ran riot to beat Southampton Women's Reserves - The Sirens - 14-0.

The Cherries booked their place in the final with a penalty shootout triumph over Moneyfields, with the two sides unseparated in normal time.

Saints will step out in their white and teal away kit in Aldershot for the cup final.

Former Saints player, and now Under-21s Manager, Shannon Sievwright spoke with pride about her squad's cup journey this campaign.

“We're really looking forward to testing ourselves against a strong AFC Bournemouth side - at any level, to reach a cup final is a great achievement.

"We have some exciting young players in our squad, who will be able to learn a lot from this experience and I know the team are hungry to go one step further than we did last season."

Defender Kate Jeffery added, "I'm incredibly proud to captain the side in this year’s Hampshire Senior Cup final.

"This squad has developed as a team through a great season and we'd like to thank all the friends and family who have travelled with us throughout our league campaign.

"We're all excited to have the opportunity to complete our journey this year with a trophy - We March On!’

Saints took an early lead in last season's final, as Kaylee Buckingham tapped home in the fourth minute to open the scoring at Fratton Park.

AFC Bournemouth equalised before the break when a corner was bundled in from close range, before taking home the trophy with a 9-8 victory on penalties.

Tickets for the fixture are available to purchase online, priced at £10 for Adults and £5 for Over-65s and 10-16 year olds, with Under-10s going free.

Can't make it to Aldershot? The game will be live streamed on Hampshire FA’s YouTube channel, with coverage starting roughly 20 minutes before kick-off.
