Five of Southampton FC Women's injured players have progressed in their recovery, but will remain sidelined for the final home game of the season.

Speaking ahead of Sunday's final home game against Charlton at the Silverlake Stadium, Simon Parker gave the latest fitness update on his squad after the international break.

Long-term absentees Chloe Peplow and Ruby-Rae Tucker have been joined on the sidelines by Ellie Hack, with an ongoing back issue, and Isabel Watts, who has been unavailable for the last three matches.

"Issy's still out and Hack is still recovering from a back issue, so she's still out, and obviously Pep and Ruby with their surgeries are out but apart from that, we're looking good." Parker confirmed.

In more positive news, striker Emma Harries, whose long term absence has kept her out for the whole campaign to date, made a return to full team training during the international break, with an ahead-of-schedule return not completely ruled out by Saints' Head Coach.

"Emma's doing really well in her rehab, she's back integrated in some team training. She's not able to play this weekend so she's not in the squad but the hope is, if she can keep progressing, you never know. Maybe we can get her involved in the Forest game."
