Saints continued their fine run in National League Southern Premier with an emphatic victory at Keynsham Town on Thursday night.

The visitors cruised into a 4-0 lead during the first-half, thanks to goals from Lucia Kendall, Ella Morris, Ella Pusey and Ciara Watling, before adding a further five to a single reply in the second.

Alice Griffiths returned from her time out with injury with a goal, capping another successful trip on the road for Marieanne Spacey-Cale's side.

After a run of four wins in succession between the end of February and the end of March, Plymouth’s survival hopes took another hit last weekend with defeat at Crawley Wasps.

It was the second of back-to-back meetings between the two sides in National League Southern Premier, losing out 4-3 at home a week prior.

Spectators can be in that number for the third-to-last outing at Snows Stadium this season on Sunday.

The two sides came to blows at the end of August, as Saints travelled on the road for the first time in the 2021/22 season.

Leeta Rutherford opened the scoring, alongside her Saints account, on 32 minutes before adding a second seven minutes later.

The scoring was rounded off 12 minutes from time by another first Saints goal, as Ciara Watling got off the mark in red and white.

MANAGER’S NOTES

"It'll be a tough game and Plymouth will be coming to us with an ambition to bring the game to us," said Spacey-Cale.

"We look at the table and where they are and it belies some of their performances this season.

"We've got to be strong mentally and strong physically ahead of another game."
