Saints head into a crucial run of matches against their promotion rivals, facing three of the other four sides that occupy the top five places in the table.
Marieanne Spacey-Cale's side dug deep to earn a 1-0 win on the road against Sheffield United last time out, lifting themselves up to third with just two points separating them from top spot.
Meanwhile, Crystal Palace played out a 1-0 result of their own last weekend, but came away on the losing side in another promotion match up against Charlton.
The result leaves Palace slightly adrift of the top teams in fifth place, three points below Saints and five points off top spot.
On transfer deadline day, there were movements in and out as Paige Bailey-Gale and Lia Cataldo departed the club whilst 18-year-old Republic of Ireland forward Abbie Larkin joined The Eagles from Glasgow City.

MANAGER'S PREVIEW
Speaking after her side's victory at Bramall Lane, Marieanne Spacey-Cale admitted "We need to use this week really wisely, we'll get the girls resting and recovering, but with a focus when they come back in that there's another massive game coming up.
