Saints will be looking to pick up where they left off in the league, as their last outing was an impressive 2-0 win away at Bristol City thanks to goals from Tegan McGowan and Ellie Brazil.

Simon Parker's side won two of their last three matches in February, as impressive performances from the in-form Brazil saw her earn nominations for the WSL2 and the PFA Player of the Month award.

With six games to go in the league Saints are sixth in the table, but only four points away from the third place play-off spot in a tightly congested chasing pack.

Birmingham's impressive season sees them firmly in the promotion hunt, as they sit second in the table only behind high-flying Charlton.

Amy Merricks' side got off to a flying start in the league and, after a brief stutter in October, picked their form back up to end the 2025 schedule.

However, they only won once in February in the league as a draw against Durham and defeat to Crystal Palace means they are well in reach of the promotion chasers below them.

PREVIOUS MEETING

The reverse fixture was an away day to remember for Simon Parker's side, as they handed fast-starters Birmingham their first defeat of the season.

An Atlanta Primus finish, followed by an incredible strike from Chloe Peplow, was the difference as Saints left St. Andrew's @ Knighthead Park with all three points.

MANAGER PREVIEW

Speaking ahead of Sunday's return to St Mary's, Head Coach Simon Parker emphasised the importance of his side picking up where they left off in February.

"To get back into league action is really important for us and we want to be able to continue the momentum we had in the previous month, and Birmingham is a tough test.

"We can take into this game the fact that we have performed very well against other top teams, and we beat them away from home so we know we have the capabilities to do that again. We're aware of the threat they pose, but we're relishing the challenge."
