Southampton FC Women will look to build on last weekend’s positive result as they head into their final two Barclays Women’s Championship fixtures.
Saints left it late to beat league challengers London City Lionesses in their last game, Katie Wilkinson coming up trumps with a poacher’s goal to secure all three points after a difficult March.
Coventry United, who’s relegation fate is already sealed, were beaten 4-0 by Saints’ final opponents of the season, Sheffield United in Coventry’s own backyard.
Meeting United twice already this season, falling to a 2-0 defeat in the Conti Cup before a convincing 3-0 win at St Mary’s, Saints will be hoping to secure points to cement their final standing in their debut Championship season.

It was a 3-0 victory at St Mary’s as Katie Wilkinson scored half her season’s goal tally against Coventry United last time out with no response, her first coming less than 20 seconds into the game.
