Southampton FC Women's stars had a positive first international break of 2026, with debuts and winning contributions across their March fixtures.

Saints captain Atlanta Primus maintained her place in Jamaica's side and played the full 90 minutes in an important win during 2026 CONCACAF W Championship qualifiers - the start of the Reggae Girlz's 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup qualification campaign.

Primus marshalled the midfield in a 3-2 victory over Nicaragua, as a brace from Manchester City's Bunny Shaw and a goal from Newcastle United's Shania Hayles earned the win at the Estadio Nacional.

Elsewhere, on England duty, there was a milestone appearance for Megan Collett(main image) who made her Under-23s debut for the Young Lionesses.

She played the entirety of the game in a 1-0 win over France to mark her debut, as England sealed their place in the semi-finals of the WU23 European competition.

Collett was joined by teammate Jess Simpson, who came off the bench for the final 30 minutes; Saints' full-back pairing both started the following game back on home soil, as the Young Lionesses hosted the Netherlands in a friendly.

Simpson earned another assist as she teed up the opening goal for Tottenham's Lenna Gunning-Williams, who headed home the excellent cross after just 10 minutes.

Saints' duo were withdrawn shortly after the hour mark as England went on to draw after conceding a late equaliser in Shrewsbury.

Finally, Michaela McAlonie earned another full 90 minutes for Scotland's Under-23s squad, as she featured in a friendly defeat against the Netherlands.
