Wilkinson nominated for Women's Championship Player of the Season
Southampton FC Women's Katie Wilkinson has been nominated for the Barclays Women's Championship Player of the Season award.
After picking up the Player's Player of the Season award at the club's end of season presentation, Wilkinson is now up for another accolade.
In her second year at the club, Wilkinson finished as Saints' top scorer once again - she bettered her tally from the previous campaign, this time scoring 10 times in 23 appearances across all competitions.
Eight of those strikes came in the Women's Championship as she fired Saints to their highest league finish in 4th place, with their best points tally in the second tier.
