Saints have just three games remaining of the 2022/23 season as they could finish as high as sixth in the table with three wins depending on results elsewhere in the division.

The youngsters welcome West Brom to Staplewood after returning to winning ways in their last outing against Brighton.

Goals from Will Merry and Nicholas Oyekunle secured a 2-0 win on the road against their fellow South Coast opposition last week.

West Brom sit in 10th position in the league table, two places and two points behind Saints as they enter their final three fixtures.

The young Baggies come into Wednesday's encounter also on the back of an impressive return to winning ways as they beat Tottenham Hotspur at home last weekend.

Goals from Oliver Bostock and Cheick Kone were pegged back twice before a Cole Deeming free-kick in stoppage time earned a dramatic late victory.

PREVIOUS MEETING

Earlier this season, Saints picked up a 1-0 in Birmingham thanks to a late goal from Tyler Edmondson in a tight encounter on the road.
