After a tough start to the season, Saints’ youngsters head into Saturday’s clash looking to build on a winning result in their last outing.

Mikey Harris’ side sit in 11th place in the league, but have enjoyed success in the Under-18 Premier League Cup where they beat Derby County 1-0 three weeks ago.

Nick Oyekunle’s goal just before half time was the difference as Saints remain unbeaten after their first two games in the tournament.

Their victory over the Rams means it’s now two wins in their last four games in all competitions for Harris’ side, who will be looking to transfer their cup form into the league this weekend.

Saturday’s hosts, Leicester City, have had an inconsistent start to the league season as they sit in 9th place with seven points from six games.

The Foxes have won just twice so far this season but picked up one of those victories in last week’s clash with Crystal Palace.

Adam Barradell’s side were 5-1 winners over Palace, with five different players getting their name on the scoresheet in a dominant display.

Last season, a solitary goal from Matt Carson was the difference in a 1-0 win over the Foxes.

The first half opener was enough to keep Saints at the top of the table in their title-winning season.
