Saints Foundation project looking to reduce youth offending received boost towards a further two years of supporting Southampton’s young people.

Saints Switching Play supports young people referred by the youth justice service on a one to one basis with the aim of reducing reoffending, improving mental wellbeing, increasing aspirations, and fostering positive connections.

A representative of Triangle Trust said: "We are delighted to be supporting the great work that Saints Foundation are doing supporting young people in Southampton who are caught up in the criminal justice system."

When participants have completed their journey with Saints Switching Play, the team will look to facilitate a positive transition whether it is integration into community activities like Kicks, or progression into employment with SaintsWorks.

The Triangle Trust 1949 fund will provide £65,682 over the next two years joining other funders of the project Children in Need, Southampton City Council, Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner, and Southern Co-op.
