Saints given Fulham FA Cup trip
Southampton have been drawn away to Fulham in the fifth round of the Emirates FA Cup.
A youthful-looking Saints side secured a spot in the next round with a 2-1 win over Leicester at St Mary's on Saturday, with Cyle Larin's penalty and James Bree's extra-time winner enough to see Tonda Eckert's side through.
For Fulham, the Premier League outfit cruised past Middlesbrough in round three before seeing off further Championship opposition in the form of Stoke on Sunday, thanks to former Saint Harrison Reed's 84th minute winner to claim a 2-1 victory.
With the tie to be played over the weekend of Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th March, full fixture and ticket details will follow once a date and kick-off time has been confirmed.
The scheduled Championship clash against Norwich City at St Mary's on Saturday 7th March will now be rearranged in order to accommodate the fifth round encounter, with ticket details to follow in due course once a new date has been arranged, as well as information for those who have already purchased tickets.
