P&O Cruises supports Saints Foundation Charity Matchday
Principal Partner of Southampton Football Club and Saints Foundation, P&O Cruises donate their front-of-shirt spot on our Charity Matchday fixture next month.
Each season, for one home fixture Saints Foundation take over St Mary’s, and this season will see the return of the special edition Saints Foundation kit.
P&O Cruises’ commitment to the city has extended to Saints Foundation since they became Southampton Football Club’s sleeve sponsor in the summer of 2024. With over two years of partnership, P&O Cruises have hosted fundraising events on their flagship Britannia, seen staff raise money by running from Liverpool to Southampton, and supported many other initiatives.
They will now work closely with Saints Foundation to deliver our Charity Matchday, supporting us in speaking directly to fans about their impact across the city.
The Charity Matchday will take place on Saturday 21st February, as Saints host Charlton Athletic at St Mary’s Stadium. Saints Foundation staff and participants will be present throughout the stadium footprint, sharing more about their work in the community and raising money to fund their 15 projects delivered across the city.
During the 2024/25 season, Saints Foundation engaged 6,511 people, helping 5,545 achieve a positive outcome. This equates to supporting 2.4% of Southampton’s population and generating more than £10 million in social value for the city.
Fans will be able to support Saints Foundation online, whether pre-match through the soon-to-be-announced Charity Matchday Prize Draw, or post-match via auctions of exclusive match-worn shirts, as well as through a variety of fundraising opportunities on the day.
