WHAT’S AT STAKE?

The significance of Sunday’s clash in the capital cannot be understated as two teams in the bottom three go head-to-head as Premier League action returns.

It’s been a difficult few weeks in the league for David Moyes’ side, who have found themselves fall down the table as the battle for survival ramps up.

While they still sit bottom of the table, Rubén Sellés’s men have seen an upturn in form in recent weeks, claiming a huge point against Tottenham Hotspur last time out.

Finding themselves 3-1 down with just 13 minutes to play, Theo Walcott pulled one back before captain James Ward-Prowse kept his nerve from the penalty spot to provide Saints with a lifeline with ten games left to play.

TEAM NEWS

Only two injury concerns for the hosts as Lukasz Fabianski and Michail Antonio recover from injury.

Long-term absentee Juan Larios has been ruled out for the remainder of the season, while Tino Livramento has returned to first team training.

ONES TO WATCH

Danny Ings: With Michail Antonio’s fitness not yet clear, the former Saint could find himself in the starting line-up on Sunday and will undoubtedly cause problems for the Saints defence.

Romain Perraud: The left-back has scored in both of his previous outings against West Ham in the league. Consistently posing a threat down the left flank, the Frenchman will be eager to add to his goalscoring tally in the capital.
