WHAT’S AT STAKE?

A spot in the last eight of the competition awaits the victors, with Saints fighting on dual fronts in both the Sky Bet Championship and Emirates FA Cup to currently sit nine unbeaten.

Tonda Eckert's side will head to the capital full of confidence, ready to test themselves against Premier League opposition in the form of the Cottagers.

Wednesday night's 1-0 loss to West Ham was the first time since October that Marco Silva's side drew a blank at home, with the hosts looking to bounce back by reaching the quarter-final stage for the third time in the last four seasons.

TEAM NEWS

Fulham: Harry Wilson is the only major player with a question mark surrounding his availability, having missed the midweek match against West Ham.

Joachim Andersen, who recovered from a knock against Tottenham to sit on the bench on Wednesday night could be restored to the starting line-up on Sunday.

Saints: While Jay Robinson and Welington remain unavailable, Saints are boosted by the availability of Ross Stewart, who missed last week's win at Sheffield Wednesday with muscle tightness.

Mads Roerslev is the only long-term absentee, with the full-back recovering from surgery that will see him miss the remainder of the season.

THE MANAGERS

Marco Silva: "It’s another big game for us, in a different competition. The mindset goes in a different competition now, doesn't matter what we did or not last time, it's a competition we want to go through.

"It's a competition that the draw gave us a chance to play home and we want to show the power of us playing home, not the case on Wednesday, but for sure another chance on Sunday to do it and to go through in the competition is what we aim for."

Tonda Eckert: "[It’s a] big game coming up for us, so we’ll make sure that we go strong, and we are very well prepared to go into the next round. I’m sure that we will leave everything out on the pitch on Sunday.

"I think that this game comes at a different part of the season [to the Leicester cup fixture]. There was no midweek game for us so we’ve had a whole week to prepare, so I think the Fulham game will look a little different."

ONES TO WATCH

Emile Smith Rowe: After four Premier League games in four days, Marco Silva could rotate his squad to give the former Arsenal attacker a starting spot.

With a goal in the third round against Middlesbrough, Smith Rowe is one of several dangerous attacking options at Fulham's disposal.

Flynn Downes: Sitting out last weekend's win at Sheffield Wednesday, Saints' midfield general could be restored to the starting eleven on Sunday.

The combative midfielder has been a key part of the recent unbeaten run, and his ability to break up play and win the midfield battle could prove vital if the visitors are to leave London with a win in the cup.
