Saints Foundation is one of the Lord Mayor of Southampton’s chosen charities, with a number of exciting fundraising events are on the horizon.

The Right Worshipful the Lord Mayor of Southampton, Councillor Valerie Laurent, is supporting Saints Foundation as one of three local charities during her term.

Alongside Southampton Sea Cadets and the Oasis Southampton City Farm, we will directly benefit from funds raised at a number of events in the coming months.

In February, the Lord Mayor's Masked Ball will be coming to the home of Saints Foundation, St Mary's Stadium, for a night of glitz and glamour. With entertainment from a comedian, table magician and two of the city's most celebrated musicians, it's not a night to be missed:

Looking ahead into April, the Lord Mayor has organised a classic car display against the Old City Walls near Westquay. There will also be live music, a quiz and an optional visit to the city's wine vaults.

There are also a number of other events planned, including a dance event in the Guildhall, and a trip aboard the largest working steamship in Britain, the SS Shieldhall.

Speaking back in August about making Saints Foundation one of her chosen mayoral charities, Lord Mayor Laurent said: “I’m delighted to be supporting Saints Foundation as one of my three Lord Mayor’s charities.

“Their fantastic team have a life-changing impact on thousands of people, young and old, year on year. The work they’re doing is making Southampton a better place to live for everyone.

“We all may need this help at some point in our lives, who knows what the future holds for us? Giving something back in your support is vital, and thank you.”
