Another period of positive news for Southampton’s loanees has passed, with survival and promotion hopes to highlight in our latest Loan Watch…

In the Vanarama National League,Jake Vokins continued his good form with Eastleigh and played a crucial role in helping them seal their survival in the fifth tier for a tenth season.

He played 90 minutes in a trip to Kidderminster Harriers, and delivered a pinpoint cross to set up top scorer Paul McCallum who headed home the game's only goal.

That performance was followed up on Tuesday night with another 1-0 victory on the road - the third in a row for the Spitfires - as Vokins made his fifth consecutive start for the club.

Will Merry also made the first senior start of his career against the Stones, playing 75 minutes at Grosvenor Vale as Eastleigh have lost just once in five games since the loan pair arrived.

Up in SkyBet League Two, Derrick Abu made his second consecutive start for Harrogate Town, playing 90 minutes in a 2-2 draw against Sutton United.

Meanwhile, Ollie Wright continued his good form with Worthing in the National League South with some more important saves in a 4-2 win over St Albans City that stretched his side's unbeaten streak to six games.

In the same division, Jem Hewlett returned to the Chippenham Town side for two games in three days; the 19-year-old played back-to-back 90 minutes but couldn't help prevent defeats against Farnborough and Eastbourne.

Charly Alcaraz continued his steady return from injury with a third-successive substitute appearance for Juventus as a stoppage time introduction in a goalless draw with Torino in Serie A.

Finally, Mateusz Lis made a 10th start in a row for Göztepe - his 29th in total this season - as they drew 1-1 with Tuzlaspor and edged closer to automatic promotion to the Turkish Süper Lig.
