Southampton FC Women's Kayla Rendell has been called up to the England senior squad for the first time.

Having been initially selected in the Under-23s for April's international break, Rendell has now been handed a senior call-up for the first time in her career.

Lionesses Head Coach Sarina Wiegman announced that the 22-year-old goalkeeper has been drafted into the senior squad for their upcoming UEFA Women's EUROs qualifying fixtures.

Rendell also becomes the first Southampton player to earn a senior England call-up since the club's formation in 2017.

England will face Sweden at Wembley Stadium on Friday 5th April, before travelling to take on the Republic of Ireland on Tuesday 9th April to kick-off their EURO 2025 qualifying campaign.
