FA Cup third round date and opponents confirmed
Saints will face League Two outfit Walsall in the Emirates FA Cup third round at St Mary's, taking place on Saturday 6th January 2024 at 3pm GMT.
The Saddlers saw off National League North side Alfreton Town in a replay at the Bescot Stadium on Tuesday night, with Jamille Matt's strike the difference.
Mat Sadler's side will now head to the south coast in the New Year for a first meeting since 2011, when Saints memorably secured promotion to the Championship thanks to goals from Guly do Prado, David Connolly and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Tickets will go on sale to Season Ticket holders from 9.30am GMT on Wednesday 13th December.
