Tonda Eckert encouraged his players to continue their momentum and not take the latest task for granted, ahead of a trip to already relegated Sheffield Wednesday.

Saints made it eight games unbeaten in all competitions with their dominant 5-0 victory over QPR on Tuesday night. Now begins a run of four consecutive away games for Eckert's side, starting with Saturday's trip to the team sitting bottom of the Championship.

"I think that’s been one of our strengths over the last weeks that we take every game [as it comes]," said our Head Coach. "For the moment [Sheffield Wednesday] are in they’ve been outstanding over the last weeks. It must be very tough to be in the situation they’re in and keep going again, again and again. It’s not an easy situation and I think [Henrik Pedersen] has dealt with it in an outstanding way.

"It’s going to be a lot of travelling for us with the game tomorrow and the next three games also being away from home. So we need to make sure we have the right amount of rest and training.

With a schedule like this, Eckert will be thankful for a largely clean bill of health to call from. "We're looking good, the squad is looking good and we'll go as strong as we can tomorrow."
