Check out the Anti-Bullying Week posters made by young Saints fans
At Saints we support Anti-Bullying Week, and we're glad to see so many of our young fans do too.
From 13th-17th November this year, people and organisations across England, Wales and Northern Ireland have been recognising Anti-Bullying Week, coordinated by the Anti-Bullying Alliance.
At Saints we've been no different. Our Safeguarding team held a competition to help spread awareness of the campaign, asking young people aged 13 and under from our community to create Saints themed anti-bullying posters and we had some great entries.
Eight posters were shortlisted, with Hugo and Mia being selected by our Head of Women's and Girls Football, Marieanne Spacey-Cale and Director of Football, Jason Wilcox as our overall winners.
See the shortlisted entries below (from left to right: Mia, Hugo, Oliver, Elizabeth, Ula, Esther, Zac, George)⬇️:
Our Head of Women's and Girls Football, Marieanne Spacey-Cale said: “There are some great pieces of work and they're all really imaginative. My favourite is Mia's - I love how the picture depicts a feeling felt by people who are or who have been bullied.”
Our Director of Football, Jason Wilcox said:“I loved the pictures, a great effort from all. My pick is Hugo, a really nice combination of fantastic artwork and words.”
