Head Coach Tonda Eckert has confirmed that Cameron Bragg will miss out on Saturday's Championship return against Hull City.

Speaking ahead of his side's return to St Mary's Stadium after last weekend's FA Cup clash, Eckert issued an update on young midfielder Bragg, who scored his first senior goal but was also forced off in the second half against Doncaster.

"We have learned a bit more about how the concussion protocol works this week, so Braggy's going to be out for the weekend." Saints' Head Coach assessed.

There was some positive news on other recent absentees, Mads Roerslev and Shea Charles, despite the pair remaining out for the weekend.

"Mads had some sessions in and out, but he still needs a little bit of time." Eckert said.

"Shea looked very good; you always need to be careful, tomorrow will come a little bit early but we are positive he will be involved on the Wednesday [against Sheffield United]."
