Franny Benali, Saints Foundation Ambassador, will once again be leading a dedicated group of 54 fundraisers to the Lake District in our 4th annual Benali on Tour.

This year we've have teamed up with Maximum Adventure to plan the route and will be the most challenging so far, as Franny and the team take on the iconic Lake District 10-peaks challenge, reaching elevations of over 5,400ft, which equates to over 5 times the height of the Eiffel Tower.

The challenge, taking place on Friday 1st May, will be a circular route starting and ending at Old Dungeon Ghyll, Langdale, and will include three of England’s highest mountains, Scafell Pike, Ill Crag, and Broad Crag. With just 10 hours to complete the 14.5 mile route, this will be the toughest Benali on Tour challenge yet.

The walkers will then spend the night in Kendal before travelling down to Deepdale to support Southampton FC as we take on Preston North End FC in the last game of the season, where our team will fight for their position in the playoffs. We encourage visiting fans to keep an eye out and offer your support to the Saints Foundation team as they recover and unwind at the match.

This event would not be possible without the support of Paul Castle Associates, who has returned as the official Event Partner, and Wheelers Travel as our Travel Partner.

Over the past four years, Benali on Tour has raised almost £100,000, with this year aiming to raise another £53,000, which through our work, can generate £342,380 in social value for the city and help to change the lives of those in need within Southampton.
