All Roads Lead to Leeds
Whether on foot, or on two wheels, all roads lead to Leeds for Saints Foundation fundraisers as both Benali on Tour and the Big Bike Ride teams head to Elland Road.
Benali on Tour and the Big Bike Ride embark on the journey to Elland Road for our regular season finale.
For Benali on Tour, now on its second tour, club legend Franny Benali will be leading a mighty group of fundraisers as they traverse the famous Yorkshire Three Peaks in the days leading to the big matchday in Leeds.
On Benali on Tour’s debut season, Franny took 30 fundraisers to the South Downs to conquer a marathon trek from Brighton to Eastbourne in aid of Saints Foundation. Collectively, our March 2023 fundraisers raised over £16,000. This year, they hope to top £30,000!
‘Iron Fran’ and the team are set to be taking the walking up a level for this year’s challenge with 24 miles of trekking and 1,585 metres of ascent across three different peaks. With high stakes comes big incentives, as after their trek, our fundraisers will join the Southampton faithful at Elland Road for the final game of the regular season on Saturday May 4th.

As Franny’s Saints are marching across the Three Peaks, the Big Bike Riders will be on the final leg on their journey to Leeds.
With the start line for our bike riders at St Mary’s on the morning of Wednesday May 1st, in the days leading into the game against Leeds our team will be cycling over 250 miles to Elland Road.
With the route taking them through the stomping ground of another promotion rival in Leicester, the journey is tied closely to the Saint’s incredible Championship campaign this season.
With all roads leading to Leeds, our Big Bike Riders will be met at the finish line by the Benali on Tour team to soak in the conquering of another colossal journey from St Mary’s, and the atmosphere of the big game.
