2026/27 fixtures: Saints start away to Watford
Southampton will begin the 2026/27 Championship season with an away trip to Watford.
The club’s fixtures for the upcoming campaign were released today, with Saints on the road on the opening day as they travel to Watford on Sunday 16th August for a 1:30pm BST kick-off that will be shown live on Sky Sports.
Elsewhere, the south coast derby clashes against Portsmouth are scheduled for Saturday 10th October, at St Mary’s, with the reverse fixture at Fratton Park on Saturday 27th February.
The festive period will see Tonda Eckert's side travel to Charlton Athletic on Boxing Day, before hosting recently relegated West Ham United on Tuesday 29th December followed by another home game against Cardiff City on New Year’s Day.
Saints will wrap up the season on Sat 1st May at home against Sheffield United.
