Ralph Hasenhüttl has reported no new injury concerns ahead of Southampton’s trip to Bournemouth on Sunday.

The manager had not yet seen his players at the time of his Friday morning media duties, but believes everybody came through the 1-1 draw against Brighton unscathed.

Hasenhüttl confirmed Moussa Djenepo, Sofiane Boufal and Yan Valery remain sidelined, before hinting he could be tempted to recall some of the players who dropped to the bench last night, having made five changes for the visit of the Seagulls.

“I haven’t seen them yet, but I didn’t hear anything from the doctors or the physios, so I think they are ok,” he said of his squad.

“They are a little bit tired maybe – I don’t know how much distance we covered yesterday, but in the end I’m sure we will find a team for the weekend.

“We have a few guys who were left on the bench who are fresh now for the weekend, so they can push again, which is good.”
